Mervat works as Head of Education – Arabic at the Emirates Literature Foundation. She collaborates with schools in the UAE and abroad, focusing on instilling a love for reading among students. She organizes educational events to make reading enjoyable and enriching. With a bachelor’s degree in English Literature, she brings two years of experience as both an English teacher and an Arabic teacher for non-Arabic students. Mervat’s professional growth was further enhanced through an internship where she contributed to book translation. This internship allowed her to apply her language and literature skills in a practical setting, contributing to her professional development.
