Event: GSI Panel Event – Sustainable and Just Food Transitions in Times of Uncertainty

As we face unprecedented global challenges, it’s more important than ever to prioritize sustainable and equitable food systems. This event provides a unique opportunity for experts and industry leaders to collaborate on innovative solutions that support a healthy planet and population.

Don’t miss the chance to hear from our esteemed panel.

  • Abi Reader – National Farmers Union (NFU) CYMRU Deputy President, and a third-generation mixed farmer
  • Guy Watson Singh – Twice awarded farmer of the year, founder of Riverford organic farmers, farmer and organic veg box pioneer
  • Dr. Tom Powel – Associate research fellow at the Global Systems Institute and expert in management of terrestrial ecology through agriculture and forestry
  • A member of The Food and Land Use Coalition (TBC)

They’ll cover all aspects of food production, distribution, and consumption, emphasizing the need for food transitions. This event will provide a platform to exchange ideas and innovative solutions that support sustainable food systems. The panel will last around 30 mins, with 30 mins of Q&A followed by informal networking. The panel lasts from 6.30pm to 7.30pm in Amory Moot.
