Art for All Centre - FALAJ

We Are The Possible‘s poetry has inspired Art for All Centre to create an innovative and inclusive performance through the language of mime, breaking barriers and delighting audiences with their silent yet powerful storytelling.

Sharjah Mime has earned a reputation as a pioneering theatrical group dedicated to pantomime stage shows. They are exclusively comprised of gifted hearing-impaired actors from across the UAE.

At COP28, they will debut their own adaptation of the We Are the Possible anthology– featuring seven poems in a seven-minute performance.

The new performance by Sharjah Mime is a compelling journey through impactful poems including Interstellar, Forest, Storm, Anthropocene, and culminating with Home, exploring the transformation of our climate and the planet’s response to our actions. It highlights how our choices can alter the course of our world, starting from the stars in the sky, the untamed wilderness of the forest that both stirs and soothes storms, and how the planet can reclaim what we’ve taken from it.

Sharjah Mime is based at the Art forAll Center, and actively engages in diverse events throughout the UAE while also venturing into regional and global performances. The company will be performing at some of the We Are The Possible events at COP28, including the celebratory showcase at the Mohamed Bin Rashid Library in Dubai on 7 December.
