Indigenous lands cover half the world, supporting 2.5 billion livelihoods. Indigenous knowledge systems hold valuable insights and solutions for restoring the balance in our planet addressing climate change.
To give voice and bring light to the importance of indigenous people, the University of Exeter and Emirates Literature Foundation reached out to indigenous poets around the world.
The result was a series of wonderful poems representing Maori, Muscogee, First Nations, South American and South African Nations.
